Gel-venture 6

Following a collaboration with LMC, IAB-Studio is now preparing its last collaboration with ASICS. This time around, IAB-Studio put its point of view on the GEL-Venture 6. Founded by the famous Korean rap artist Beenzino, the emerging label sought to apply a minimalist design aesthetic to the racing model.

Starting with a gray technical mesh base, the shoe is accented by metallic silver leather overlays with blue and orange stripes. The dynamic brand expressed by the overlays is accompanied by logo tab labels, 3M ASICS reflective patterns on the toe, “GEL-VENTURE 6” markings on the heel, “IAB-Studio” brand on the rear and co-branded soles.

Additional details come in the form of colored eyelets, yellow strap elements and trail style laces. The design of the collaborative shoes is completed by a gray GEL-assisted midsole combined with an orange torsion support and a robust blue rubber outsole.
