Air Jordan 1 Mid Chlorine Blue Borrows Geometric Print
Out of the Jordan Brand lineup as a whole, the Air Jordan 1 Mid seems to have the most room to experiment with, with its releases often focused on both new and old inspirations. The latest version of the silhouette perfectly illustrates this last category as it reuses the tribal pattern of the Air Jordan 7. Up front, the color seems to borrow inspiration from the famous “Storm Blue” AJ1, the pair famous by Union LA for their collaborations. At the overlays, the same dark blue wraps in smooth leather, matching the material but not the tone of white that sits just below at the toe and center panel. Further behind, the aforementioned AJ7 finally comes into play: the ankle flap as well as the counter immediately below are dressed in a retro-esque pattern, its jagged shapes filled with tones of orange, navy and a aqua clear.
