With this collaboration, CARHARTT takes us inside the world of some of music’s biggest independent labels, through a podcast hosted by British music journalist Chal Ravens, he talks to the people behind the music and gives a unique insight into their history and the inner workings of their label. The series concludes with the release of co-signed products with the respective labels. The first edition, launched in 2020 included artists like DFA, STONES THROW and PUBLIC POSSESSION.
Volume 2, meanwhile, includes PAN DE BILL KOULIGAS, legendary producer ADRIAN SHERWOOD with his ON-U SOUND label and ED BANGER. Also included are EXIT RECORDS with producer DBRIDGE, the label, Amsterdam-based distributor RUSH HOUR and the iconic Detroit label MAHOGANI MUSIC run by Kenny Dixon JR, better known as MOODYMANN.
RELEVANT PARTIES VOL.2 sees each label collaborate with Carhartt zip on a selection of products as well as a limited edition mixtape.
