Ronnie Fieg is a shoe and clothes designer and founder of the KITH brand. Known for his true adoration for classic shoes, he has been collaborating with Clarks Original’s since 2021 for this collaboration that uniquely represents the classic shoe.

Ronnie Fieg’s 8th St collection is a true tribute to streetwear and classic footwear. The name of the collection refers to the place where the designer’s passion began, the same place where Fieg started his shoe career on Manhattan’s legendary 8th Street.

First launched in 2021 via two silhouettes (the Lockhill and the Sanford), the 8th St collection marks the highly influential footwear energy of the New York 90s scene.

After the success of this first collection, Clarks Original’s relaunches a second edition of its collection and joins forces with Fieg to release two new models: the Radlett and the Breacon.

The story of a high-level designer

Aaron Fieg, better known as Ronnie Fieg, is an American designer, creator and entrepreneur. At the beginning of his career, in the 2000s, he was able to collaborate on new designs based on existing models from Asics. In particular, three pairs of the Gel Lyte III called “The 252 Pack”.

His new designs sold out in less than 24 hours thanks to Fieg’s work. The New York Times also published them on the front page of the newspaper.

Fieg has been instrumental in energising and popularising the current taste for eclecticism in footwear.

Whether it’s New Balance, Polo Ralph Lauren, Puma or Adidas, Ronnie Fieg has more than 50 collaborative products to his credit.

Fieg’s collaborations with Asics and New Balance are the result of a revolution in the sneaker world.

His collaboration with Asics is said to be one of the longest and most prolific in the history of sports shoes.

He then created his own brand: KITH. It is a two-pronged approach – a multi-functional lifestyle brand for men/women and children and a progressive retail establishment.

Sanford, the perfect representation of the classic shows.

Covered in suede, Clarks Original’s pair is the epitome of the classic shoe. Its olive green colour gives it an undeniable charm.

Named after Clarks’ first London warehouse, this model is designed for an understated and classy lifestyle. The pair’s contemporary sensibility honours its fashion capital roots with its fashion-forward design.

In recent years, the foundations of London fashion have been shifting and storytelling has been waiting for its chance to showcase its history. England has always highlighted the country’s fashion history with a certain reserve.

You can find the Clarks Original Sanford on our website or in the shop.
